Recognize that not all information is appropriate for a particular assignment or information need. Evaluate the usefulness of the information source. Consider the following questions: Is the format or medium of the information useful for your assignment? Is the information a primary or secondary source? Is the information comprehensive enough for your needs? Does the information express a particular point of view? Is the information directed toward a general or a specialized audience?
