Searching WebLUIS by Title

If you know the title of an item, you can search for it by using the Title point of access. (Remember that if the first word of the title is A, An, or The, you will search under the second word of the title instead).

For example, if you did a TITLE search in the WebLUIS Online Catalog for an item entitled “Space in the 21st Century”, you would find the following:

[WebLUIS catalog screen - search results by title]

NOTE: If you cannot recall the exact title of an item, you can select the Keyword point of access and enter the title words you remember.

For example, if you only remembered the words “caged” and “bird” were in the title of a book and couldn't remember the author's name, you could type those words in any order after selecting the keyword access point. You would retrieve the following:

[WebLUIS catalog screen - search results by title keyword]

Looking at the results, you would hopefully recognize the book you were seeking.
