Guides to the Literature
[various guides]

Guides to the literature (sometimes called bibliographies or research guides) provide a list of sources on a subject.
These sources may be arranged by type of material (encyclopedias, handbooks, manuals, directories, periodicals, databases, etc.) or by specific topics within a subject area. They often give helpful hints on the research process.

For example, to find more reference sources on the topic of space station technology, refer to a guide such as Scientific and Technical Information Sources. It provides excellent suggestions for locating additional materials on your topic.
